Is PawsApp right for my dog?

At PawsApp we know that every dog and pet parent is unique. As a team, we will help you find your perfect match out of our variety of sitters and dog walkers. Some sitters have pets of their own for your dog to play with, while others do not own a dog and they offer plenty of one-on-one attention.

What is an Instant Walk?

You can request a walker to walk your pup ASAP. Most walks are usually filled within 30 min to 1 hour. If you are looking for an instant dog walk with a trustworthy local dog walker, PawsApp is here for you.

How do you hire and train your carers?

Finding truly amazing and special dog-people is no easy task. It’s pretty much the most important thing we do besides take great care of our pups. In fact, only a very small percentage of our applicants even make it to the first in-person interview.

Applicants are chosen based on professional and personal experience. They take part in a series of in-person interviews to ensure they have a proper background and understanding of dogs.

Once we find a rockstar candidate, they take the Pawsapp University test to see if they really have what it takes. Pawsapp University curriculum is focused on positive reinforcement, health, safety, breed-specific traits, gear, and problem-solving.

How does the dog walker access my home?

If you have a doorman/front desk you are welcome to leave your key for us to sign out. Also, you can decide a hidden spot and let PawsApp carer know the access information. 

Does PawsApp offer insurance?

Yes, your pet is insured during the period of booking! PawsApp has your back with free insurance coverage for all services booked through our site. This means that you will have ultimate peace of mind. 

How do I get a Meet & Greet?

Meet & Greets are easy to schedule and important for sitters, pet parents, and dogs alike. They’re your chance to get to know the dog and their owner before booking a service. Let us know if you need a Meet & Greet and we will contact your sitter for availability.

What is our Cancellation Policy?

For walking and daycare services if a pet owner cancels before 3 hours, the payment will be fully refunded. For boarding services, we require a notice 3 days in advance in order to receive a full refund. We will offer a 50% refund if you cancel the service 24 hours before it starts.

Can I still book dog care during the COVID-19 pandemic?

Of course! We take every precaution possible to keep our walkers, our dog owners, and our little friends healthy, and continue to operate.

What precautions do you take against COVID-19?

We trained our dog walkers and sitters to keep themselves, yourself, and your dog healthy. Some of the most important precautions we took are as follows:

  • Keeping interaction short
  • Contactless hand-offs of the dogs, if contactless hand-off is not possible, limiting the interaction and washing hands as soon as possible
  • Always following social distancing (minimum 2 meters)
